A Group of us enjoyed a Saturday Morning Cruise this Fall in Muskoka.Aboard the WENONAH II, we had a true Muskoka Experience. Our group of 17 joined about 175 others, and we enjoyed a gentle cruise around the beautiful Muskoka area. The Ship has three levels, and we spent the first 90 minutes on the top two levels enjoying the scenic cruise and spectacular shoreline of cottages. These million dollar cottages with matching boat-houses were truly magnificent.
The top level of the ship is ideal for open-aired cruising and enjoying the beautiful out-doors. After a while, we returned down to the 2nd level to warm up a bit, in the enclosed area. The last hour of our cruise was on the first level, in the formal dining area. We were served an excellent meal of Roast Turkey with fresh Cranberry sauce, gravy, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. Dessert was a delightful variety of Apple Pie.
The WENONAH II was built in 2002. This new ship was styled after an authentic 1907 Muskoka vessel. Our 3 hour cruise toured the Muskoka Lakes leaving from Muskoka Wharf in Gravenhurst.
Accommodating up to 200 passengers, the Wenonah II combines turn-of-the-century charm with modern conveniences including air-conditioning and an on-board elevator. Passengers can enjoy three dining rooms and three decks offering the ultimate Lakeview experience.
Ideal for family events, birthday parties, celebrations, or corporate events, the WENONAH II was a great experience. The ship includes a fully licensed bar and outside patio.
For social and corporate entertaining, the Wenonah II includes the private Cherokee Dining Room. For groups of 20 to 24 guests, this private Dining Room provides an ideal opportunity impress your guests as you wine and dine them in luxury.
